NAMACHEKO

Born from a documentary honouring their Kurdish roots, Siblings and founders Dilan and Lezan Lurr found Namacheko to explore identity, displacement and belonging through fashion. Self-thought and raised in Sweden, the duo balance between rawness and refinement, incorporating architectural and historical influences. Through each collection, Namacheko bridges tradition and modernity, blending Kurdish and Western influences, reinterpreting menswear through sharp tailoring and layered texturing.

With a strong emphasis placed on tailoring, precise construction and innovative fabric techniques, they reinvent contemporary menswear with each collection. Namacheko works with artisanal mills and advanced construction techniques to create pieces that are wearable yet avant-garde, merging Kurdish textiles in modern silhouettes. An approach meticulous in detail, with architectural pattern-making and textile manipulation  to ensure durability, quality and timeless design.

Their engineering backgrounds, self-thought pattern-making and tailoring has made them curate a deeply personal universe within fashion, which explores the themes of identity and cultural duality.
