STUDIO ELINA LANS

Founded in 2020 by Soviet-born Dutch designer Elina Lans, the studio carries a legacy of personal history and inherited craft. Inspired by the tools passed down from her great-grandmother, a former jeweler and watchmaker, Elina Lans desires to create change and bring awareness on the environmental and social impact of the industry. With a degree in jewelry design and international law, she approaches design in a pragmatic and aware way, weaving heritage, beauty and purpose into her creations.

With a vision that is constantly refining itself, Elina Lans embraces modernist and intuitive designs which are poetic, androgynous and elegant. The designs resemble miniature sculptures, merging organic silhouettes with the solid weight of precious metal. Art is essential in Elina Lans’s work, taking inspiration from architects, interior and fashion designers. She spends most of her time researching and expanding her knowledge through workshops, galleries and museums to create statement pieces that transcend time. With every curve and contour she evokes an emotional connection with the past and future.

Elina Lans studio designs are future heirlooms – her testament towards artistry and craftsmanship. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in Amsterdam, where recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones work harmoniously to create high-quality and thoughtful jewelry. Vintage elements breathe new life through her pieces, every creation crafted in a unique, sculptural and intimate way. Elina Lans thrives on a philosophy towards responsible luxury, ensuring ensuring zero-waste local production and offering emotional depth with each collection.

Elina Lans embraces and appreciate that jewelry is the slowest fashion of all if practiced mindfully. Unlike fabric, Lans always highlights that silver, gold, diamonds and other precious stones never lose their value, and as a medium and artist, you can reuse them endlessly, therefore almost all pieces are up-cycled. Philanthropy is a core value for Elina Lans as she dedicates a portion of her sales to important causes like Doctors Without Borders. As a cancer survivor herself, Elina creates limited edition pieces for the Breast Cancer Awareness, which benefit charitable organizations. Her studio proves that jewelry can hold more than beauty - it can hold meaning and purpose.
